You’ve got to say “Cheers” in this classic German bartender costume.  This is a great costume if you’re a lover of tradition.  This one will show your German pride to everyone who sees you.

This bartender costume comes complete with the shorts, shirt, hat, and knee socks.  The lederhosen shorts are classic brown in color with beige accents.  The suspenders are matching in color with a cool screen print across the front.  The pullover shirt has 3/4 sleeves with a neat lace up front.  The matching hat is very typical and will really pull the outfit together.

The first brewery on record was founded somewhere near Munich, Germany.  Early brewing was actually done by monks and beer was given to lay workers as a portion of their pay.  These were the days of heavy drinking as men in Bavaria would visit taverns in the early morning and drink before they even ate breakfast.  Then these same men would return in the evening for some drinking games.  So just who played the part of the bartender is those days?  Sometimes it was the local royalty but often it was just the tavern owner who played host and hostess and would make sure that everyone would have a full stein of delicious German Beer!
